Women who attended Batley’s former Princess Royal Girls School met some faces from the past at a reunion event.
The school opened as Carlinghow Senior Girls School in the 1930s and closed its doors as a secondary school about 40 years ago.
Most of the women attending the event were at the school in the 1950s and 60s.
Some brought along mementoes of their school days including reports and a school bible.
One former pupil Gwen Whiteley took with her a photo she had taken in 1955 of a group of girls, then 12-years-old on a trip to Ambleside.
She asked readers who recognise anyone in the picture to get in touch with the group. The event was organised through Facebook group Princess Royal Girls. C.S. School, by past student Janet Singleton.
