Rain won’t stop play at Birkenshaw show
Tomorrow’s show at the Birkenshaw fire headquarters will still go ahead - despite today’s torrential rain.
The event, which features all three blue light services, as well as local councils, charities and community groups, will take place at the headquarters in Bradford Road, Birkenshaw.
There will be lots of fun activities, entertainment, and demonstrations by the emergency services.
However there will be no park-and-ride at the local school due to a waterlogged field, so parking will be on-street around the site.
Gates open at noon and entry is £1, and free for under 10s.
