Rape accused appears in court

A 43-year-old man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl has appeared in court via videolink.

Amadou Bojang, care of School Lane, Dewsbury, appeared before Leeds Crown Court today (Tuesday) from Armley prison in Leeds.

Bojang is accused of raping the girl in Crow Nest Park in Heckmondwike Road on the evening of September 5.

He also faces a charge of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 16, on the same victim, on the same date.

Bojang was remanded in custody. He will appear before Leeds Crown Court again on October 15
