After a major rebuild lasting four months, Ravensthorpe Service Station, is set to open this weekend.
The new-look filling station, on Huddersfield Road will be one of the most impressive in the UK and visitors are promised a very warm welcome, plenty of promotional offers and state of the art facilities for motorists and shoppers alike.
The site has been owned and operated by the Hans family since 1991.
Mohamed Hans started up the business and now his son Yusuf is at the helm.
The decision to close Ravensthorpe Service Station for so long was not taken lightly.
Yusuf said: “We have always taken great pride in serving the local community and knew that the old site was looking tired and lacking some facilities.
”We wanted our forecourt and shop to be the very best and capable of serving our community for at least the next 20 years.
“A full knock down and rebuild was the only way.
“It has been a lot of hard work but thankfully we can now count down the days to welcoming back all of our customers and lots of new ones too.”
The site includes a Costcutter supermarket parking for 15 cars, and a free to use ATM cash dispenser plus a Jet wash and vac.
Yusuf said: “Everyone is welcome. “Whether you are buying groceries, want fuel with or just fancy a chat, we are here for you.
