Rixonway gives kitchen gift to volunteers

IT’S tea time at Fusion Housing after staff received a shiny new kitchen.

The housing and debt advice specialist was treated to a beech kitchen from Rixonway Kitchens for its new premises at Empire House, Dewsbury.

Rixonway, also based in Dewsbury, helped the voluntary organisation settle into its new home and trimmed the costs of its office move.

Previously based across four sites, Fusion Housing has moved to Empire House and Pearl Assurance House in Huddersfield.

It offers housing and debt advice, learning opportunities and provides recycled furniture and white goods to people in need throughout Kirklees, targeting the homeless and those in danger of losing their homes.

Rixonway Kitchens chief executive Paul Rose said: “We are always happy to provide support in communities where we work and we’re delighted our donations will allow Fusion Housing’s budget to be spent on its frontline services.”
