Royal Mail to employ 510 temporary workers in Leeds
Job-seekers could land temporary work around Christmas after Royal Mail have announced they will take on 510 workers in Leeds.
Most of the seasonal roles, which are available between mid-November to early January, will be based in mail and distribution centres to ease the extra demand for cards and packages. Parcelforce Worldwide are also looking for drivers and indoor workers to help with the festive run-up. Royal Mail’s operations director Rob Jenson said: “Every Christmas, we make a substantial financial commitment in additional resources to handle the festive mailbag, including the recruitment of thousands of temporary workers.” Click here to apply for the positions.
