GHOSTS and ghouls stalked the Savoy Square on Monday afternoon when a haunted house came to town.
Heckmondwike and Cleckheaton town centres were taken over when Kirklees Council’s Halloween Trail provided chills and thrills for the youngsters and their parents.
Children came dressed up in scary costumes, with prizes for the best outfit.
They also got their faces painted, with scary skeletons proving especially popular.
The trail was led by the Dark Angel, who took the children around the town centres to scare local shopkeepers.
A haunted house also appeared in Cleckheaton on Monday and Heckmondwike on Tuesday, terrifying young children with its creepy attractions.
