Snozone will also be running a number of paid-for activities during the school break, including Snocamps for children aged seven to 15. Youngsters taking part can learn how to ski or snowboard and improve their snow skills.

The camps run from 8.30am to 5.30pm and cost from £50 a day or £225 for the full half term week. They are suitable for beginners or pros.

Percy the Penguin and the Snozone polar bear will join in the sledging sessions on Wednesday, October 29, and on the Thursday, people on the main slope can pick up freestyle hints and tips from Snozone’s sponsored riders.

The Snofresh student night also returns from 5pm on Wednesday October 22, with a Halloween fancy dress competition and three hours on the slope for £23 on production of a NUS card.
