Stone the crows! It’s Hartshead scarecrow festival

It was a who’s who of the hay world in Hartshead as the village was decked out for its annual scarecrow festival.

More than 30 familes, groups and individuals created stunning likenesses of celebrities to enter into the festival.

Entries included the Royal family, Catwoman, Spongebob Square Pants, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel – with prizes for the best ones.
