Students showcase their skills
Kirklees College students had a chance to shine in a competition that showcased the practical skills they are working to master.
Dewsbury students Ryan Corrigan and Ishmail Latif both ranked highly in a Matchfit competition in construction, competing against students from other towns and colleges.
Ryan 18, came third in painting and decorating intermediate and won £20, while
Ishmail, 18, came fourth in intermediate joinery. Both students study at Dewsbury Construction Centre. Pictured, from left to right, are Matchfit contenders Ishmail Latif, Ryan Corrigan and James Hartley.
