Taxi driver jailed for sexually assaulting teen and raping woman

A TAXI driver has been jailed for his part in a series of sexual attacks on a 15-year-old girl.

Larasab Hussain also raped a woman in her 20s, making her pregnant, just weeks after the earlier attack.

He was locked up for nine years at Leeds Crown Court this morning.

The court heard 46-year-old Hussain was one of three men who sexually abused a drunken 15-year-old girl on May 13, 2010.

He sexually assaulted the girl in the shower at his house after she had been raped and assaulted by the others at various addresses.

Parts of the night’s events were filmed on Hussain’s phone, though it is not known who was operating it.

Six weeks later, on June 26, Hussain lured a woman in her 20s back to his house and raped her.

She fell pregnant as a result but did not report the crime until August that year.

Hussain, of Headfield View, Thornhill Lees, admitted both offences at trial.

He will serve half of his sentence in prison, minus time already served, before being let out on licence.

Judge Scott Wolstenholme also ordered the forfeiture of Hussain’s phone and made a sexual offences prevention order.
