Police officers will be stepping up patrols at a speeding black-spot in Cleckheaton

A speed operation was carried by the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing teams after concerns were raised by residents.

The operation was carried out at Moorside in Cleckheaton on November 15 following concerns raised by local residents and councillors regarding an increase in speeding vehicles and general anti social behaviour such as engine revving

Sgt Charlotte Nicholls for the policing team said: "Over 20 vehicles were stopped and drivers were given words of advice. This is something we hope to continue targeting in the future.
