Tributes to tragic Thornhill tot Summer Ratcliffe-Rogers

Summer Ratcliffe-Rogers, who was 21-months-old, died in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Her dad is Joss Ratcliffe, who plays rugby for Thornhill Trojans and is the son of coach James Ratcliffe.

Police were at the family’s home in Frank Lane, Thornhill, from around 2pm on Monday.

Floral tributes lie on the wall at the end of the drive leading to the house.

One, from ‘Uncle Jake’, read: “No words I put can say what I feel! You truly were my little princess.”

A police spokesman said the cause of death had not yet been established and enquiries were ongoing.
