Two arrested after Ravensthorpe fight

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fight in Ravensthorpe which led to the arrest of two men.

At around 12.10am on February 21, two 34-year-old men called at a house on Northstead looking for a female friend.

However, the men called at the wrong house and an argument erupted between the 34-year-olds and a 29-year-old man at the house which led to a fight.

The man’s 31-year-old neighbour became involved and suffered a head injury after a brick was thrown at him.

A third group of men also turned up and became involved in the disturbance before police arrived and arrested the two 34-year-olds on suspicion of assault.

They are currently on bail pending further enquiries.
