Unwanted antiques are needed for a sale in aid of a Heckmondwike church.

Terrier Antiques, in Cleckheaton, is holding the event to help raise money for Norristhorpe Church.

The church needs to find £34,000 to pay for running costs.

The auction takes place on September 28 and the auction house is appealing for anyone with unwanted antiques, collectables or quality household goods to either donate them or place them in for auction with 15 per cent of the proceeds going to the church.

Owner Pete Robbins said: “We are also asking businesses to donate a service or product we can auction off on the night, like a free meal, a spa session or a hair cut.”
