UPDATE: Police name man killed in Flockton crash
A 22-year-old man killed in a Flockton car crash last week has been named as Damian Wood, from Huddersfield.
Mr Wood died when his Citroen C4 was in collision with a Vauxhall Insignia on the A637 Barnsley Road near the Grange Moor roundabout at around 6.42am on Wednesday. The two cars were travelling in opposite directions.
The driver of a Peugeot van was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been bailed to a later date.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
