VIDEO: Celebrate Yorkshire day with star-studded Yorkshire anthem
A much-loved Yorkshire anthem has been recorded with a host of stars to celebrate Yorkshire Day.
The special version of On Ilkla Moor Baht ‘At, featuring Brian Blessed, soprano Lesley Garratt, Alistair Griffin, Grimethorpe Colliery Band and Yorkshire choir Rock Up and Sing, will raise money for charity.
Profits will benefit the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Yorkshire Regiment’s Charity, as well as the Heroes Children Fund, of which X Factor contestant and Yorkshire Regiment solider Jonjo Kerr is a patron.
Jonjo also features on the Welcome to Yorkshire-commissioned track.
