We’re looking for the Face of 2014

This week the Reporter Series is launching its competition to give one man and one woman from our area their chance to shine.

You don’t have to be Cara Delevingne or David Gandy to enter – all you need is the desire to succeed.

And there are some fantastic prizes on offer for the lucky chosen two.

The Reporter Series has teamed up with the Mill Village, Batley, to offer £250 per winner to spend in the village, which will also provide a hair and beauty makeover at Harmonise salon and clothes styling.

They will also be offered a one year initial contract with Catwalk Model Management and a free makeover, including hair styling, and portfolio shoot by the Make Up Studio, Wakefield.

Hannah Ridgeway, Reporter Series editor, said: “There are some fantastic prizes on offer for the winners of Face of 2014.

“We want as many of our readers to send in their pictures and be in with a chance of winning. Just think about the Christmas presents or party outfits you could buy with £300 at the Ridings.

“And you could also kick start a career in modelling with a top agency.

“Face of 2014 is about having fun and getting involved.”

To enter, you need to live in the Reporter Series area and aged 16 or over.

You don’t need a professional model portfolio to enter – just send us a head and shoulders photograph.

The closing date for entries is November 11. After that, our readers will have until November 26 to vote for their favourite.

The top five contestants will go forward to the final in December when the winner will be chosen by an expert panel.
