Who won £100 to spend at Huddersfield Global Market?

Bratwurst, tapas and hog roast will be on offer during a four-day market with an international flavour.

Traders from around the world will take part in the Huddersfield Global Market event from tomorrow (Wednesday).

Solsolet Tapas will be bringing their authentic Spanish and Mediterranean tapas for visitors to try, whilse German Schwenkgrille will be sharing the true taste of Germany with bratwurst, currywurst and more.

Snowdonia Cheese will be bringing along a selection of cheeses from all over the world and from Crepes Temptation will be dishing up authentic French crepes.

Other stall holders will include Celtic Hog Roast and Wiltshire Chilli Farm.

The event in New Street is being organised by market consultancy firm Market Place.

Operations manager Chris Hulley said: “We are very excited to visit Huddersfield for the first time and we have a great market planned!

“Our traders will be presenting Huddersfield a great experience and an exciting selection of flavours from all across the globe offering something for the whole family. It will definitely be the place to be!”

The market will be open from Wednesday until Saturday March 28, 9am-5.30pm.

Two runners – Samantha Ball from Cleckheaton and Julie Scott from Batley – will receive £50 each to spend.
