Woman knocked down in Batley
A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being knocked down in Batley yesterday.
The police and ambulance service were called to Bradford Road at the entrance to the Tesco Extra car park at around 5pm.
Witnesses reported not being able to get into or leave the car park.
The woman’s injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening. She may have suffered a broken leg.
