St Luke’s art festival was a real treat

I paid a visit the other weekend to the St Luke’s arts festival in Cleckheaton and was impressed with the range of work on display.

Pupils at Whitcliffe Mount School had drawn spectacular patterns based on the sights they had seen around the church.

There was an art display by Hollybank artists, a group of adults living within the Trust, all of whom have profound disabilities, producing their art by vocalisation to manipulate images on a computer screen.

There were also delightful displays by Scholes Art Group and Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Art Society, both of whom who are looking for new members with a talent for art.
