As the newly elected Conservative councillor for Liversedge and Gomersal I would like to thank everyone who supported me on May 5.
I am very much looking forward to representing all residents in the ward during the next four years.
As many will know, I am one of the team planning to establish a free school for the children of Gomersal and surrounding areas but now my work will extend way beyond this one project.
I am looking forward to working on any issues which are brought to me directly by residents and also working alongside Couns Margaret Bates and David Hall on existing projects which will include fighting against the LDF plans in Hartshead.
I made a pledge during my campaign that I would not disappear after the election and I will stand by that promise. Once I have completed my councillor training I will be back out and about visiting homes, I have already started visiting those residents who raised issues with me in the run up to the election.
