Sykes in final preparations for Elland Road warm-up bout
Gary Sykes is making final preparations for his first fight of the new boxing season, when he takes on London-based Jamaican Mark McKray at Elland Road next Friday.
The Dewsbury Moor man is gearing up for another hectic period and the McKray fight will form part of his build up for a shot at the British super featherweight crown against Liverpool’s Stephen Smith in November.
Sykes’s Central Boxing Club stablemate Josh Warrington will headline the Yorkshire’s Finest bill to the Elland Road Pavilion, defending his English featherweight title against Berkshire’s Ian Bailey.
