Celtic 18s lift Yorkshire Cup
DEWSBURY Celtic Under-18s won the Yorkshire Cup last Saturday, beating West Hull 13-4 in the final at Featherstone Rovers.
Scrum-half Thomas Halloran scored the opening try, which he converted and full-back Nathan Lawrence crossed for an unconverted try as Celtic led 10-0 at half-time.
Halloran kicked a penalty four minutes from full-time and then landed a drop goal before West Hull replied with a consolation try.
In the senior Yorkshire Cup final, Sharlston Rovers overcame Nevison Leap 24-10.
