Cleckheaton are gearing up for a hat-trick of local derby clashes in National League Three North, starting with tomorrow’s trip to Sandal (kick off 3pm)

Cleckheaton moved up to ninth in the table following last week’s hard-fought 17-14 victory over Rossendale and they will seek a first win on the road when they make the short trip to Wakefield.

It starts an important spell of games for the Moorenders, who face three consecutive derbies.

They travel to Huddersfield YMCA on October 11 and entertain old foes Morley the following week in what is Cleckheaton’s only home game this month.

Scrum-half Jack Bickerdike looks set to miss tomorrow’s derby after aggravating a knee injury.
