Had just two more overs been possible it would have constituted a game and St Michaels were ahead on run rate when play was suspended and they will replay this Sunday.

There is incentive for the winners, who have been paired at home to Wrenthorpe in the semi-finals.

Wrenthorpe continued their quest to win five trophies this season when the Premier Division leaders inflicted a crushing defeat on New Farnley.

Former Birstall and Mirfield Parish Cavaliers batsman Eric Austin blasted 97 from 65 balls and shared a 134-run partnership with Greig Batty (50no) as they posted 243-4 from 30 overs.
