Leeds United, Huddersfield Town: Football fixtures announced for 2014-15 season

Leeds United will open the 2014-15 championship campaign with an away game at Millwall on Saturday August 9.

The Football League have released the fixtures for the forthcoming campaign and the Whites will kick off at the south-east London club at 3pm.

They will be at Elland Road on Tuesday August 12 for the League Cup first round game against Accrington (K.O 7.45pm).

They will follow that with a Championship match at home against Middlesbrough on August 16 and will host Brighton on August 19 before taking a trip to Watford on August 21.

Bolton will then be visiting Elland Road on August 30.

Other notable fixtures for Leeds is a home game against Huddersfield on September 20, at home to Wigan on Boxing Day and their first match of 2015 will be an away game at Bolton on January 10.

The Terriers kick start their Championship campaign at home against Bournemouth on August 9 (K.O 3pm) before playing a League Cup first round match away at Chesterfield on Tuesday August 12.

Their Championship matches continue away at Cardiff on August 15, at Reading on August 19 and a home game against Charlton on August 23.

Rotherham will welcome Huddersfield on Boxing Day with the return fixture set for Saturday March 7.
