Savile Town FC juniors celebrated winning two Huddersfield and District League Cup finals at Elland last Sunday.
The Under-13s, who also won their league title in April, met Ryburn Blacks in a closely contested game.
The sides were locked 1-1 at half-time but Savile Town went on to win 3-1, despite missing a penalty, thanks to goals from Talhah Raja, Muhammed Faruki and Khaalid Patel.
Under-13s coach Zaffer Patel said: “It was an excellent team performance, I am glad we came through to win the match and it’s a fantastic feeling being league and cup winners in the same season.”
The Under-15s faced a tough challenge from Meltham and the game was evenly poised for the first 20 minutes before Savile Town took control and goals from Mohammed Asmal (two), Ibrahim Patel and Muhammad Mitha Patel saw them into a 4-1 lead.
Meltham couldn’t recover in the second half, especially after Mitha Patel added his second goal as they went on to seal a 5-1 win.
It proved Savile Town’s most successful junior season since the club was formed 10 years ago as the Under-12s also won their league title.
Savile Town chairman Imtiaz Ameen added: “It has been season for our junior teams this year and we are proud of the efforts of our coaches, players and parents have put in to make it into an overwhelming success for us.”
