Sedge hit four

Liversedge earned an emphatic 4-1 victory over Barton Old Boys in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division at Clayborn last night, Tuesday.

A first half brace by Nathan Cartman gave Liversedge a strong foundation.

Much in the style of Liversedge this season the rest of the action came in the final three minutes of the game as Rob Bordman sealed all three points with the third Liversedge goal. Two minutes later winger Alex Hallam puit the icing on the cake with the fourth goal.

However, to prove the football adage that you are at your most dangerous after scoring Barton pulled one back in the 90th minute through Scott Philips.
