Hide AdThere was a cracking all Heavy Woollen tie in the West Riding County Sunday Trophy second round as Westgate23 edged out Old Bank WMNC 4-3.
Steven Swift, Josh Parker, Jack Clough and Jake Blackburn all netted for Westgate 23 and it was enough to see them through despite Old Bank WMC replying through a Robert Evans brace and Sam Womersley.
Division Two leaders Westgate23 now face Old Ball in the third round on December 4 and they are joined by fellow Heavy Woollen Sunday sides Scholes Athletic and Saville Arms.
Division One leaders Scholes Athletic won 5-3 against Halifax Rangers to set up a home tie with Kirk Deighton Rangers.
