West Side miss chance to move joint top of table

Dewsbury West Side missed the chance to move level at the top of the Spen Valley League Premier Division when they drew 2-2 with Girlington last Saturday.

Victory would have seen West Side draw level on 13 points with leaders Palestino but although Saif Akbar and Atif Bashir struck, they were unable to claim maximum points as Adeeb Jawad and Muhammed Qasim earned Girlington a point.

Savile United and Savile Youth fought out a 1-1 draw in their derby clash.
