Francis Cummins appointed head coach at Bradford Bulls

FORMER St John Fisher student Francis Cummins will become the youngest head coach in Super League after being appointed new boss at Bradford Bulls.

Cummins, 35, succeeds Mick Potter as head coach at Odsal and was unveiled at a press conference today (Monday).

Cummins still has strong links with the town and is chairman at the Dewsbury Celtic amateur club.

Having signed for Leeds Rhinos from St John Fisher, Cummins went on to make 356 appearances for the Headingley club between 1993 to 2005, while he also won three caps for Great Britain.

He was assistant coach at Leeds for a spell, before moving to Bradford as Potter’s number two.
