Dominic, a former pupil at Batley St Mary’s Junior School, started playing golf aged eight. He joined Hanging Heaton Golf Club as a junior member and last month was part of the club team who came second in a national competition held at the former Ryder Cup venue of The Belfry.

Dominic is quite a sportsman and plays cricket for Birstall Under-13s and the Heavy Woollen representative team but golf is his passion and where his future sporting focus lies.
