Cleckheaton took less than 20 overs to dismiss Idle for just 90 as Andrew Deegan (4-43) and John Wood (3-16) impressed.

Wood then hit 41 not out, while Ammar Mahmood made 53 not out to steer Cleck home by nine wickets in 17.1 overs.

Hanging Heaton were given a scare before edging to a six-run win over Farsley.

Gary Fellows (50), Mark Lawson (37), Imran Dawood (34), James Stansfield (35) and David Stiff (32) chipped in as Hanging Heaton made 232-9.

Farsley’s efforts appeared to be falling short until Terry Staniforth’s late flurry of 35 put them within touching distance.

In a dramatic final over, Heaton player-chairman John Carruthers held his nerve to claim the last wicket to end with 3-55 and see his side to victory.

Spen Victoria gave a good account of themselves before losing to Lightcliffe.

Dan Shuffe continued his fine form with another half-century but Spen were bowled out for 208 in reply to Lightcliffe’s 320-7, which owed much to a sparkling 121 from Alex Stead.
