Iain Wardlaw in Yorkshire squad to tour Barbados

CLECKHEATON opening bowler Iain Wardlaw has been selected in an 18 man Yorkshire squad, who will leave for a two week tour of Barbados on Monday.

The former Hartshead Moor player will be hoping to impress and stake a claim to earn a place in the first team ahead of the new season, which starts early next month.

Cleckheaton’s Andrew Gale will captain the side, who are due to play eight matches in various forms of the game.

Dewsbury-born all-rounder Richard Pyrah will remain in the UK due to the imminent arrival of twins.
