Mount maintained their impressive form in Halifax League Division Two last Saturday as they defeated Greetland by 90 runs.
Mount posted a huge score of 362-6 from their 45 overs when batting first.
Hanif Kayat led the way with a maiden century as he finished 103 not out.
He was supported by Soyeb Gheewala (50) and shared a brilliant third wicket partnership of 151 with teenager Rizwan Abed, who struck 67.
Greetland made a good start to their reply and were brilliantly led by David Reynolds, who made 137 but he lacked the support to challenge Mount’s total as they were bowled out for 252.
Hanif Kayat followed up his efforts with the bat by claiming 3-32 which included the key wicket of Reynolds.
Victory leaves Mount 10 points clear at the top ahead of Saturday’s game at home to mid-table side Bradley and Colnebridge.
Mount B gained revenge for their defeat to Oxenhope earlier in the season as they recorded a six-wicket win in Second Teams Division One.
Oxenhope elected to bat first having won the toss but the visitors were soon in trouble as opening bowler Siraj Patel got to work.
Patel went on to claim 6-13 as Oxenhope were dismissed for 100.
Mount lost three quick wickets in reply but Mahmed Makda steadied the ship and his 37 not out guided them to 104-4.
Victory leaves Mount second in the table, 13 points behind league leaders Shelf Northowram B and they travel to fourth placed Queensbury this Saturday.
It appears a battle between the top two for the title as Mount are 24 points clear of third placed Outlane.
