The KBW gym, based in Savile Town, are hosting another of their popular shows this weekend, with around 20 bouts scheduled, including a number of boxers from the home club.

Huzayfa Khan ended Jake Exley’s unbeaten record when they met in May and the Dewsbury man earned a quickfire double over his Doncaster opponent.

Huzayfa dominated throughout in an impressive display to secure a unanimous decision victory on all three judges scorecards.

Ayub Khan travelled to Scunthorpe to appear on the Imps Boxing Club show, where he gained victory over a home fighter.

Ayub made an aggressive and dominant start, forcing the referee to give his opponent a standing eight count.

He again went close to forcing a stoppage but his opponent defended well and made it to hear the bell.

Ayub also dominated the final two rounds in a one-sided affair to earn a unanimous points decision and seal an eighth consecutive win.

Both Khans are matched to fight at Dewsbury Town Hall this Saturday.

The show is expected to be one of the biggest in Yorkshire with amateur fighters from across the county attending for what should be a great evening of amateur boxing.

KBW are staging the event in aid of the Palestine relief effort in Gaza.

The club have continued to grow since opening in 2011 and, earlier this year, KBW hosted charity boxing event in aid of Syria.

n The KBW Club also staged a large regional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) interclub competition last Sunday, with over 300 people attending and over 70 competitors taking part in various disciplines.

MMA, grappling, Jiu Jitsu and K1 bouts were taking place simultaneously, with some fighters competing several times.

The event was attended by many martial arts and MMA clubs from across the area, making it a successful and enjoyable afternoon and the event helped provide a platform for beginners and novice fighters, who may wish to compete on the larger stages, to have their first taste of competition.

KBW are planning to host similar inter club events several times a year and with the club boasting over 8,000 square feet of space it is easy for them to accommodate such a large crowd.
