Liversedge aim for Hampshire giant killing

Liversedge will be aiming to spring a major cup upset on Sunday when they travel to Wrenthorpe in the Central Yorkshire League’s Jack Hampshire Trophy quarter-final.

Liversedge are chasing promotion from the Championship and a century from Mark Hydes last week helped them to victory over East Ardsley.

Wrenthorpe may not to challenging for Premier Division honours thi season but are still regarded as a big scalp and Liversedge will be keen to put on a good show.

Liversedge entertain Buttershaw St Pauls in the Championshiop tomorrow, while Scholes will look to get their Premier Division title challenge back on track when they entertain Ossett.
