Spenborough Swimming Club are seeking new coaches to help continue their development.
The club’s membership is growing weekly but they now need more coaches and poolside helpers to run sessions.
Club representative, Michael Brickwood said: “Swimming is a niche sport and most people who go into coaching are usually ex swimmers or parents of existing swimmers.
“Finding coaches is not that easy and there is a huge shortage of coaches across the region.
“However, we are looking for anyone interested in volunteering who can spare a couple of hours per week.
“They do not have to have any previous swim coaching experience as we will train them and the club will support them financially in achieving any qualifications.
“The future of sports like swimming rely heavily on the skills, knowledge and commitment of volunteers. Volunteering is hugely rewarding where people can help give back to the wider community, while gaining work experience, making new friends and having fun.”
