Overthorpe edge thriller to lift trophy

Overthorpe Sports Club retained the Jim Wadsworth Memorial Trophy with a thrilling 217-214 win over Morton House.

The match, played in memory of Jim Wadsworth who was a great friend of both clubs, was a terrific spectacle and the pick of the games was Heather Jewitt’s 21-20 comeback win over Heavy Woollen Merit winner Rob Dunford.
