Resurgent Rangers seal Spen success

RAVENSTHORPE Rangers have vowed to continue playing in the Spen Valley Football League despite recent problems.

Rangers, who are one of the longest serving clubs in the league, were forced to call-off a recent game against TVR but officials rallied round to ensure they can continue.

They are confident of fielding stronger sides in future games and that certainly seemed the case last Saturday as they had a 3-1 victory over Thornhill United Seniors in the Premier Division.
