Morrison, along with hooker Tom Hemingway, prop Ryan Hepworth, Wayne Godwin and assistant coach Damien Gibson have posted videos on the Rams website encouraging fans to back the squad.

In Morrison’s post he says: “2015 will be the hardest year in the Championship. As head coach, I appreciate all the fans who came out and supported us this year and we really need you to be the 18th man for us next season.

“Cheer us on and get us our highest ranking we can against some Super League sides.”

The Rams are offering some great incentives to entice fans, new and old, to games.

Under-16s can obtain free season tickets and, in their latest scheme, all ex-Dewsbury players can gain a pass for just £30.

Rams chairman Mark Sawyer said: “This is a small way for the club to recognise the contributions made by past players, and an effective means of linking together our past, present and future.

“With developments on and off the field continuing at a pace, these certainly are exciting times from the club. But it is important to honour those who have served Dewsbury — in good times and bad — in years gone by.”

Past player season pass holders will be able to gain access the south stand, north stand and east terrace.

A standard adult season ticket is priced £140 for the south stand terrace and £155 for the seated north stand, with concessions £95 and £110, and are available from the club on 01924 465489.

Past players must supply a passport size photo for their pass, which do not include cup games or play-off fixtures.
