Bulls coach, Dewsbury-born Francis Cummins, has vowed to play his strongest side and Glenn Morrison will do likewise, despite the Rams playing at Keighley last night.

Morrison said: “Playing twice in a few days is not ideal but the Keighley game will have given a few of the younger boys some extended minutes.

“It is good of Franny (Cummins) to bring a top side and it is a great chance for our fans to see some quality Super League players.

“I watched Bradford against Hull last week and they looked strong in all areas and dominated the game until the last few minutes.

“The result isn’t important but hopefully the pitch won’t be too boggy and we can throw the ball about and put on a performance.”

Morrison is, of course, a former Bulls fans favourite, while new Rams signing Wayne Godwin and Karl Pryce will both be coming up against their former club.

“Wagga (Godwin) is mates with a few of their boys and there has already been some banter flying about.

“I’ve still got some mates there and Prycey is also an ex-Bulls player, so it is a game we are all looking forward to.”

Morrison was impressed with a number of Bradford’s youngsters in last week’s impressive 30-18 win over Hull and Sunday gives him another chance to see first hand potential players who could spend time at the Rams on dual-registration.

Jonathan Schofield missed the chance to start last night’s game at Keighley after breaking an arm in training, while Jobe Murphy is recovering from an ankle injury and is around two weeks away from fitness.
