Muranka on international duty
Dewsbury Rams second rower Jason Muranka has retained his place in the Serbia squad as they face a World Cup qualifying game against Italy this weekend.
Muranka was part of the Serbia team who secured a dramatic last minute win over Russia and made his fifth appearance for the Rams in last week’s narrow defeat at Bradford Bulls.
Coach Glenn Morrison said: “Jason went really well on Sunday in the game against the Bulls and we’d have loved to have had him available again for the match against Halifax this weekend but international duty is a big one for him and we wish all the best for the game.
“We’ll look forward to welcoming him back after he has completed his international commitments.”
