Savile Town are on the brink of winning the Dewsbury District League Section A title following a one-wicket win over KK last Sunday.
Savile Town appeared on course for a comfortable win after they dismissed KK for just 44 with Javed Iqbal returning impressive figures of 7-5, supported by Tariq Hussain (2-11).
KK fought back brilliantly with Usman Maqsood (4-17) and Imran Maqsood (3-12) leading the way but Savile Town edged home with the last pair at the crease.
They are now 16 points clear at the top with three games remaining after closest rivals New Sanam suffered an eight-run defeat to PKWA.
Ansar Mahmood (32) and Tahiq Iqbal (24) were the leading run scorers as PKWA were bowled out for 150.
But it proved a winning total as New Sanam were restricted to 142 all out in reply, with Wajid Rafiq (3-20), Subhaan Ammar (3-21) and Sajid Mahmood (2-9) doing the damage.
The result effectively ends Sanam’s realistic title hopes as they must win their remaining three games and hope Savile Town do not pick up three points from their final matches.
Second-bottom side Dewsbury United moved level on 30 points with KK after they dismissed Al Murad for 86 on their way to completing an eight-wicket win.
United and KK are 11 points clear of bottom side Azad, who went down by two runs against Friends Eleven.
Friends were restricted to 161 all out but Azad were unable to chase down the total, despite only losing five wickets in reply.
Scout Hill moved level on 54 points with third placed Kismat after they recorded a 65-run victory.
Scout Hill were dismissed for 137 as Zuber Patel claimed 3-30 but they then dismissed Kismat for 72.
