Sharks duo join GB tours

SHAW Cross Sharks’ players Adam Brummitt and Pat Foulstone have been selected for BARLA Great Britain tours.

Foulstone is in the open age squad which leaves next week for a four-match tour of Western Australia. One of their games will be a ‘curtain-raiser’ to the South Sydney v Brisbane Broncos game in Perth.

Brummitt has been selected in the BARLA Great Britain Under-19 squad for the trip to Serbia.

The Under-19s will play Serbia Students next Wednesday (June 8) and Serbia Under-21s on Saturday, June 11. Brummitt has played a number of games in the Sharks’ open age side in the National Conference.

Shaw Cross official Mick Turner, who is the BARLA international manager, will also be on the trip to Western Australia.
