Thornhill Trojans A took another step towards being crowned Pennine League Division Seven champions with a 48-16 victory over Farnley Falcons A.
The Thornhill A team was strong including four members of the recent Yorkshire Cup Final team — Darren Robinson, Ryan Fenton, James France and BARLA international Simon Walker— but this was a far from composed performance overall.
MoM was veteran Rob Hoyle who helped to lay the foundations for a 24-6 lead.
Darren Robinson and centre Simon Walker scored hat-tricks, Ryan Fenton added two tries. Darren Robinson also kicked eight goals.
