Wardlaw makes Scotland debut

Cleckheaton cricketer Iain Wardlaw made his Scotland debut in a Twenty20 International against Afghanistan on Sunday.

The former Hartshead Moor fast bowler opened the bowling and claimed 2-30 from his allotted four overs, as Afghanistan posted 132-7 from their 20 overs.

Scotland lost the match by 27 runs, as the finished on 105-6.

The second T20 international is today (Monday).
