World Cup final referee hands out Clough U11 awards

LAST Saturday Howden Clough FC’s Under-11s had a special guest at their presentation evening.

Premier League referee Howard Webb, who also took charge of last year’s UEFA Champions League final and World Cup final, was invited to attend the ceremony at at Batley Sports Centre.

Howard spoke to the players about the game and presented the players with their trophies for winning the league and cup double.

All the players and their parents were delighted that Howard could find time in his busy schedule to attend, as he was officiating at Liverpool on Sunday and again at Cardiff on Tuesday.
