Wyke’s impressive form sees them joint top
Troydale started strongly and were 10 points up in the opening 20 minutes against a Wyke side decimated by injuries.
Wyke came back fighting and after sustained pressure Simon Owen stormed over for a try, which Michael Wormald converted.

Hide AdGood drives by Ben Kelly and Sean Kelly put Wyke back on attack and stand-in scrum-half Ian Wormald produced a long pass to send Duane Platt over for a deserved converted try.
Joe Bartle extended Wyke’s lead when he barged over, before Wormald sold a lovely dummy and touched down.
Platt produced a fine pass and John Rayner raced 70 yards to score between the posts, with Wormald adding his fourth goal.
MoM accolades went to Simon Owen, player-coach Wormald and young full-back Paul Bapty.

Hide AdWyke A secured a second win in as many Division Seven outings, overcoming Farnley Falcons A 46-4.
Craig Hillam, Kieran Helliwell and Gary Smith scored tries, all of which were converted by Hillam, before Adam France drew the full-back and sent Mick Silver over on his debut to make it 22-0 at half-time.
MoM Matty Harrison and Helliwell crossed early in the second half before Cliff Bacon added a quickfire brace near the end.
Hillam landed all four second half goals to seal the victory.
